Tree Planting Opportunity with Forest of Mercia

Wednesday, 22 February, 2012 - Modified on Wednesday, 22 February, 2012 at 2:05 pm

Are you interested in planting more trees in your local community? If so, the Forest of Mercia wants to hear from you!

A recent consultation exercise run by the Forest of Mercia established that most people believe tree planting should be their top priority. Having listened to this feedback the Forest of Mercia are keen to submit an application to the Big Tree Plant to plant more trees in and around the Community Forest area. If you would like to nominate a piece of land for tree planting (of less than 0.5ha with public access) or you would like to get involved with this venture in other ways, then please get in touch with Rebecca Banks on 01543 370737 / Rebecca.Banks@Staffordshire.gov.uk.
