New Village Buzz Timetable

Tuesday, 21 February, 2012 - Modified on Tuesday, 21 February, 2012 at 12:03 pm

What is the Village Buzz?
It’s a public taxi-bus service which will get rural residents in the north of the district, who have perhaps not had a regular bus service, the chance to get out and about on public transport more easily. Unlike a normal bus, the Village Buzz is actually an 8-seater mini-bus,operated by Codsall Cars.

How can I catch the bus?
Anyone can use it, all you need to do is find your nearest stop on the timetable and flag the bus down. It can be hailed from the road and not just at a formal bus stop.

When does it run?
The Village Buzz runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The full timetable is detailed below.

How much is it?
If you’ve got a bus pass then it’s completely FREE! For other adults it’s £1.50 for a return trip and 75p for children under 16.

The service is being provided by the South Staffordshire Rural Transport Partnership. The Partnership, was setup by South Staffordshire Council and includes public, voluntary and community sector organisations. It has been setup to help rural residents get better access to public transport and public services.
