Bishops Wood Village Hall, in conjunction with Live & Local, are proud to present two fantastic concerts coming up in March.

First up on Saturday 3rd March at 8pm is Helen Barrett with her "The Lady Loves Jazz" show.
Singer-songwriter Helen Barrett has been performing professionally for over 10 years touring throughout the UK, New Zealand and Spain.
Helen trained at Paul McCartney's LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) and has had a wide and varied career which includes theatre, television, writing and directing.
For her Bishops Wood date Helen will be joined by one of the country's top jazz pianists as she presents a celebration of some of the greatest ladies in Jazz. Her repertoire features songs from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Peggy Lee, Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy and more.

Next up on Saturday 10th March is an evening with Folk legends Ashley Hutchings and Ken Nicol.
Ashley is a bassist, vocalist, songwriter and record producer (among other things) and can lay claim to having been a founder member of three of the most noteworthy English folk-rock bands in the history of the genre; Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and The Albion Band.
Ken Nicol is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer. He was a member of The Albion band between 2002 and 2010 and also played in Steeleye Span.
Ashley and Ken will be performing songs from their album "Copper, Russet & Gold" interjected with friendly banter, stories and anecdotes!
